Barcelona Clinches La Liga Title, Real Madrid Settles for Win

There is no longer any excitement in the La Liga title race. With three matches still in hand, Barcelona has kept the title at home. Coming into the final stretch of the league season, the fate of the four teams playing in the Champions League has also been decided. Barcelona, Real Madrid, Villarreal, and Atletico Madrid will play in the Champions League from La Liga. Even though the remaining matches after winning the title are merely a formality, Barcelona has kept their winning momentum alive. Last night, Barcelona defeated Real Betis by a margin of 3-1. Raphinha scored twice and João Cancelo added one goal.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid, content with saving their honor, also tasted victory. With the help of a lone goal from Vinícius Júnior in the 14th minute, Real defeated Sevilla.
