Kyle Jamieson Penalised for IPL Code of Conduct Breach

Kyle Jamieson has faced penalties for violating the Code of Conduct during the 43rd match of the IPL. The Delhi Capitals’ pacer was found guilty of a Level 1 offense. According to a statement issued by the IPL, Jamieson has been handed one demerit point along with an official warning.
He violated Article 2.5 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which pertains to a player’s behavior, language, or gestures that could provoke an opponent or be considered aggressive.
The incident occurred during the second over of the first innings in the match against the Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. Following the dismissal of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Jamieson allegedly approached the batter and behaved aggressively, which was deemed provocative. Jamieson has accepted the decision issued by match referee Rajiv Seth. Notably, Delhi Capitals won this match by 7 wickets.
