FIFA Stands By Iran, Pledges Full Support For World Cup Despite Match Venue Row

Two days ago, FIFA President Gianni Infantino rejected Iran’s claim regarding the World Cup. Following this, FIFA International has now assured Iran of its support.
In a meeting with the footballers, officials assured them of help during difficult situations. It is noteworthy that an Iranian team had previously traveled to Turkey. During that trip, FIFA President Gianni Infantino met with members of the football team as well as Iranian football officials.
Regarding participation in the World Cup, FIFA International stated, “We will ensure that Iran receives all possible facilities and opportunities to prepare for the World Cup. We will stand by the Iranian football team at all times.”
Earlier, the Iranian Football Federation had requested to move their matches out of America for the World Cup. FIFA has rejected that request. It is mentioned that the World Cup will be held across four countries (USA, Mexico, and Canada). According to the schedule, Iran does not have any matches in America. Despite this, Iran had requested to move the matches to Mexico.
